“This is probably nothing… but also why is Greg from Housekeeping detaining immigrants in a tactical vest?”
So here is a fun little mystery. The Department of Homeland Security, because apparently they have money to blow in between constitutional violations just dropped $3.5 million on a short-term contract for “protective services.” Cute, right? Except the contract’s labeled S206, which, for those playing along at home, is not the code for law enforcement. That’s the federal contract code for, I shit you not, housekeeping. Mop. Bucket. Deportation. Totally normal things to bundle in one line item.
Surely the U.S. government wouldn’t outsource fake federal agents to do things real agents legally can’t. But wait, it gets better: The contract doesn’t name any specific buildings. It just says “non-Social Security Administration posts” in Oregon and SW Washington. No address. No site description. Just vibes.
Good post!
I note that a Texas company was awarded the money to enforce whatever they will be doing in Oregon and Washington. Apparently Red State enforcers will be enforcing the Trumpist will on Blue States.
A war between the states. Sounds familiar.
